We believe that science can create a better world for us and our children. Hence we work on the science we believe can have a big impact in the world.

We are proud that we are very cost-efficient in doing our research, while still doing cutting-edge science. We are a small team and collaborate with independent researchers all over the world. Innovation does not know borders.

The big areas that we, our collaborators and investors are interested in are sustainable plant technologies, eradication of infectious diseases using modern DNA technologies and novel vaccine approaches, cancer and the molecular mechanisms of ageing. We want to live in a world where these technologies exist and everyone has access to them.

Humanitarian Values

The sky is not the limit. We use cutting-edge molecular biology tools and methods to push the boundaries of what is possible.
We have strong humanitarian values, so our goal is that our basic research and translational research will have an impact in people’s life by being implemented into safe and effective treatments in the future.

Access to healthcare

We believe that living in a disease free state is a basic human right. Some of our research focuses on preventing age-related diseases or treating changes that happen in the human cells and body as we age. We also truly believe that this is a question of access and equity, so our bleeding-edge technologies aim at giving doctors the tool to make interventions cheap and affordable to low-income countries.

Environmental Ethics

Some of our research focuses on cutting production steps for biopharmaceuticals and chemicals. By cutting out chemical purification steps, it gets both cheaper and less waste is being produced.

Transparency

We believe in relative risk analysis, and want objective data to decide when environmental or medical interventions should be implemented.
